Micheal S. Chun, Principal/General Manager

Michael Chun offers over 15 years of consulting experience. His project management experience encompasses a broad range of environmental conditions from commercial and industrial underground storage tank decommissioning and removals, hazardous waste spill cleanups, site characterization, to site remediation via excavation, bioremediation, and vapor extraction systems. Mr. Chun also has extensive experience on asbestos inspections and abatement. Mr. Chun has also managed and served as Environmental Project Manager on numerous projects throughout Washington State for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and Department of Parks and Recreation. These projects were completed to these Departments criteria, and encompass a wide variety of locations and site conditions.

Yen-Vy Van, P.G., P.H.G., Principal Hydrogeologist

Yen-Vy Van has over 20 years of experience in site characterization studies, hazardous waste investigation, site remediation, hydrogeologic investigations, water resources explorations, and environmental impact studies. Her experience also includes geologic and geotechnical evaluations, environmental forensic studies, groundwater modeling, and evaluation of geologic hazards including geologic faults and landslides. Ms. Van also has a strong background in senior management of staff, projects, and regulatory compliance issues. She has served as Senior Geologist/Project Manager for environmental site characterizations and site remediation on projects ranging from commercial to industrial sites, retail gasoline stations, landfills, urban and suburban development projects. Ms. Van is well versed in the field explorations utilizing a variety of investigative techniques and drilling equipment including sonic drilling, air and mud rotary, reverse circulation, hollow stem auger, and direct push methodologies.
